The Agricultural Festival is a knowledge sharing rendezvous of the farming community, a month-long event that brings together the farming community, the government officials, the scientists and many more connected with agriculture. |
| What is unique about this event is that it facilitates seamless flow of knowledge from the agricultural research labs to the land. Besides practical demonstrations of modern agricultural methods and tools and guidance queries are answered and problems solved, the festive mood grips millions of farmers as the Krishi Raths travel through thousands of villages. Not caring for heat and dust the cabinet ministers, officials and hundreds of dedicated workers travel to remote villages to facilitate the process of knowledge sharing; over 227 Kisan Raths (mobile exhibitions) drive through all the villages of Gujarat to celebrate this festival of productivity. |
